Why does bio-acetate cost more?

Acetate frames are cut from solid sheets and finished by hand, which takes more time and material than molding plastic. You pay for color with real depth, a hand-polished finish, a metal core in every temple and a frame built to last for years.

Are all frames in this collection polarized?

Yes. Every frame uses TAC polarized lenses with full UV400 protection against UVA and UVB rays.

What is the metal core rod?

A thin metal rod runs through the center of each temple. It reinforces the acetate, helps the arms hold their shape and lets an optician adjust the fit precisely.

Can the fit be adjusted?

Yes. Any optician can gently warm acetate temples and reshape them for a closer, more comfortable fit.
